Exchange on 1310 The Ticket

I was flipping channels in the car and came across a discussion about UNT's football drama. Here is what I heard:

Dude #1: "So what, 2 down season wipe out 4 bowl games?"

Dude #2: "Didn't they fire him on his deathbed?"

Dude #3: "Noo...."

Dude #1: "Didn't they fire him by kicking the plug out of the wall? *click* 'You're outta here!'"

Dude #3: "No.."

Dude #2: "Who fired him?"

Dude #3: "Well, the athletic director, Rick Villareal."

Dude #1: "Is he Muslim?"

Dude #3: "No... And perhaps the university president had a say in it as well."

Dude #2: "And what's his name??"

Dude #3: "Her."

Dude #1 & #2: "OOHHHHHH!"

Dude #1: "That might be the problem..."

Dude #2: "What's HER name?"

Dude #3: "Dr. Bataille"

Dude #2: "Sounds asian."

I think this just proves how little the local media knows about our program, our fanbase, and how fed up we were with DD's ineptitude.

That is a little bit of a stretch there. I just listened to that segment. I thought it was a pretty good segment. Gordo and Corby got a little carried away with, but what is talked about on the Ticket that Gordo doesn't get carried away with?

George did the best he could in that segment. I was happy with more talk. At least people are talking about UNT more now.
