Microsoft Excel Help

I am making a database in Excel to keep stats on my basketball team.

I have it all down and working except my FT%, FG%, and 3PT%.

If someone is awesome with Excel and knows what function to use, reply here or send me a PM. I have a cell for each games FTM, FTA, FGM, FGA, 3PTM, 3PTA, as well as season totals for each, and need to make a % of made shots for each. The percential function won't me use just two cells. If I need to, I can send the file through email to look at and see what I mean.

Say FTM is in cell D2 and FTA is in cell D3 and you want the out put FT% in D10 then in D10 put the code "=D2/D3" then go to cell options for cell D10 and change the display to % with 0 or 1 decimals.

I got a lot of PM's after I posted this...thanks for all of your offers for help.

I finally figured it out though. I have a sheet that has the free throw totals, named FT.

This is what I was doing wrong:

=(FT!B3/B15)

this is what worked finally:

=(FT!B3)/(FT!B15)
