Actually it was morning and it wasn't that far of a jog I am guessing because the camp was at Gettysburg College. It is based on a true story. No, they probably didn't win state on a reverse and they probably didn't choreograph their pre-game dance moves, but it is a movie.

By far my favorite football movie is the Official DVD of North Texas Mean Green 2003 Football

I would choose 2002 myself. Winning the bowl game was awesome.

Remember the Titans is the best, and it isn't even close.

For pure entertainment, The Replacements (Gene Hackman and hot cheerleaders) and The Program (James Caan and psycho steroid dude) get my vote.

The Waterboy is the funniest, and one of Adam Sandler's best.

Varsity Blues sucked from beginning to end, but the worst part is the fake accents.

Any Given Sunday is horrible. I don't know how an Oliver Stone movie with Al Pacino about football can suck, but it does. Might have to do with the sorry camerawork and ridiculously high stadium walls to avoid revealing the lack of crowd.

I added Varsity Blues to the poll.. along with my personal favorite "Any Given Sunday."
