Question regarding Mac’s donation/pledge?

First, personal feelings aside – I, for the most part, agree Mac has the right to influence how the money is spent – If…

Does anyone know if, at the time of the donation/pledge, Mac stipulated that the money was contingent on DD being here? If there were no conditions put on the money, and in good faith, UNT went ahead with the field I think Mac is wrong to threaten to give the money to another part of the University. Does he have the right to request a name change – yes? But to threaten to pull the money from athletics, if there were no pre-set conditions. Of course this is only my opinion, and as Mac said in his video – were all entitled to our own opinions.

I was told today at a local downtown shop that the money was in the Athletic's general fund still. I have a hard time believing that since the field is already there, but who knows.

Haven't we said we would do as asked and name the practice fields after him? If so this is beating a dead horse.
