I wonder if he is big on keeping his facts straight. This is the second time I have a seen a story from the Houston Chronicle that says MM played for the University of Texas. The other article says he played on the 1969 National Championship team. I wonder if he wrote a manifesto to the Chronicle, letting them know that he played for North Texas.

FYI, if you visit his store, you would never know he was a UNT alumnae. He has walls for everything from Elvis to parrots to Houston sports. The only thing noticeable about UNT is an 8 x 10 autographed picture of Darrell Dickey in his Gallery Furniture hat hanging above the exit as you walk out.
