I am amused the the power conferences created a set of rules that excluded schools that they didn't want in their BCS games. Well, Rutgers and Boise St have gone and screwed that up.

For the moment I am a Rutgers and Boise St fan. I really hope they both end up in BCS games.

Broncos #12 undefeated & beat up Oregon State. USC 1 loss.. to Oregon State and #3. Gotta Love the Big School Bias!!

Florida's only loss was to #11 Auburn. They should be the #3 team.

I looked up the Harris Poll (the only poll that put USC at #3) and found there sure are a disproportionate number of former PAC-10 players/coaches who have votes.

Rutgers is in the Big East which is a BCS conference. The only one crashing the party is Boise State.

Then why have the coaches kept WVU in the top ten, after getting annihilated? This year there is a bias against the top of the Big East (could be that its a weak conference).

Rutgers is a little different, in that they aren't the TV darlings like Notre Dame or Florida.

I may be misinterpreting your statement but four of the Top 10 are Big East teams (Notre Dame is considered a Big East team for bowl qualifying). That's the best percentage of any major conference.

Rutgers rise to the top could be a real nightmare for the perennial big boys. Remember, Rutgers could become the media darlings and the media is located right there in the Rutgers area of NYC-NJ.

With Rutgers doing what they are doing this season, ought to give us hope around here. That Rutgers has been beyond bad for years.

Notre Dame is only there for Big East teams if they do not have enough teams to qualify for all their bids and they need an extra team. Even then , that would mean a far less bowl than Notre Dame would want and would possibly decline ( they have before in the past). Even still no matter what , they would not have to share any Bowl $$ with the other members of the Big East.
