Today's DaMN has Deg listed as a starter for the shorthorns this year. Deg went up against a MOUNTAIN when he went to UT, he had to pay his own way and sit out a year. He got very limited playing time and then suddenly they started playing him. He had the highest average in almost every category during the NCAA tourney play for the Horns last March. Now he has a ship and has earned a starting spot. Unfortunately, by my calculations this is his last year of eligibility so if he has any shot at the pros, he needs to have a MAJOR YEAR. I know a lot of you do not agree with what Deg did but he was watching his career beeing flushed down the toilet by Trilli and this was way before RV and JJ... so he left in hopes of reaching his dream. I don't blame him one bit and am very happy for him. Now Jason Miller... that is a different story, he knew that change was coming but refused to give it a chance; let's see how he does this year at OSU.

That recruiting class combined with JJ as the coach would equal a Gonzaga type team with the possibility of being even better. I don't think people really understand just how good that class was. Trilli really came in with a vision, it is too bad he couldn't coach worth a darn. But we can always thank him for the green seats and the not-so-jumbo trons in the Pit. He got all that going.
