Jeff Bowers is the head coach at Southern Miss, and would only be an option if he is canned before or at the end of the season.

Why do we want a coach if he's being/been canned from another program?

I find his byline photo strangely hypnotic - like seeing a bizzaro version of Brad Miller rolling up his wizard sleeves to get down to business.

Huh? Some contradiction here: "The writing was on the wall; but he deserved better than what he got..." ???

Maybe Goodall should follow Dickey....

And didn't Goodall say in his last online chat the DD brought us 4 bowls, and there was no way they would fire him as he would be given the chance to turn things around? And one week later he says the writing's on the wall?
