My Favorite Helwig/Dickey/Fry Moment...

When Hayden Fry came back the first time, and and was acknowledged before the game and waved to the fans from the sideline....that evening at a special event at Ben E. Keith Ballroom (after we lost to Utah State, 15-12 that afternoon at Fouts), Craig (don't get me started) Helwig introduced Hayden to a crowd there, and before Hayden took the mike to speak, Helwig said, "We know we're headed in the right direction with Coach Dickey, so coach, what would your advice be for Coach Dickey?" Fry said, flatly,"Hell, after seeing this afternoon's game, I'd punt on first down and play defense."

My best wishes are for Coach Dickey's improved health, and hope he does what he feels is best for him in the future.

I will now up my season tickets to 6 (up from 4 currently), and up my Mean Green Club donation to $750. Had the change not been made, I would not have renewed anything.

I almost started crying I was laughing so hard... it should have been used in the FIU game with the words "field goal" inserted instead of punt.
