Norm talking about NT and DD

Heard it. Not real impressed with Norm's typical blowhard analysis of the situation. If I had any faith that Norm actually understood the situation here at NT then I might respect his opinion on the matter. Fact is he doesn't understand and therefore his opinion is irrelevant to me.

I took it that firing coaches before of the season bothers him. Its just that UNT just did it. His soapbox was more on firing a coach 3, 4, or 5 games before the end of the season.

I guess no one has explained the college recruiting period to him.

A sure bet: on any situation, Norm will side with the Coach/Manager. I still have vomit-mouth from him defending Showwalter and Nelson.

I kind of side with GD on this one - why is DD coaching through the rest of the season? How does that fact help with recruiting?

Firing a coach early gives UNT a head start on finding a replacement and Dickey a head start on finding another job.
