Dickey's contact was extended through 2008 following UNT's fourth consecutive appearance in the New Orleans Bowl in 2004. UNT will pay the remainder of Dickey's base salary this season, plus the two years of base pay left on his contract – $403,432.

Amen to that NT03. Might be worth it to get new 4-5 yr contract them screw up intentionally. Get another job in 12 mos and really get ahead. Sweet!!
