If UNT wins out where do you think we will go Bowling?

6-6 Would surely get us into a bowl. A few years back we were 5-6 and went to a bowl. So one win better would really do the trick! I think the Fiesta, Orange, and Rose Bowl are out.

I know that the Big 12 sends 7 or 8 teams to a bowl so the Sun Belt must send 4 or so. That makes me think that we might get an invite to the Cotten since we would travel well. Another fun bowl might be the Aloha.

Getting my bowling shoes on ... where do you think we will go this year? What would be your fantasy dream spot?

I think I need to take my Meds now!!!

Under the new NCAA rules for bowl eligibility the champion of the conference can't go bowling at 6-6 if there are any available teams in the conference with 7 or more wins that haven't been placed in bowls already contracted with the league.

This season would be a success; winning record & 2 OOC wins.

If we go 6-6...

This season is success after rebuilding from last year's collapse/

If we beat LA Tech...

This season is step in the right direction, 2 OOC wins.

Even if we do any of these things we won't go bowling. So is the price of life in the SBC.

If we don't do any of these things we will have a new coaching staff.

If we lose the rest of games and get a new coach for 2007, then I would deem this season a success.

Considering we're getting outscored something like 3 to 1, I have grave reservations about us winning out.

I think a North Texas fan might have a better chance of winning any dollar amount on the Texas Lottery. With that said, maybe we should look to the lotto to possibly buy out the coaching staffs' contracts.

Even if we did win out we would not deserve to play in a bowl game. What a joke?? Give it 1-2 more weeks and we will not have to worry about this conversation. This slide we are on all started on the last play of the 1st half of the Tulsa game. I thought man we are doing really well in the first half of that game. Then after that touchdown, we went back to the UNT of old, before we even won any conference championships, we laid down and took a beating. Unfortunately Tulsa knew we couldn't hang with them. Thats why they went for it on 4th down every time, they had no respect for us and they proved it by breaking our will and now the result is the pitiful football we are witnessing week in and week out.

Even if we win out I seriously doubt we get invited to any bowl (unless we pull the SBC out of our ass and go to New Orleans).

Just because you win 6 games does not mean bowl sponsors are beating down the locker room door.

Didn't Troy or someone else win 6 either in 2005 or 2004 and not get a bowl invite?

Hopefully at least half of you realized eally was being sarcastic....

Im afraid IF we somehow pullout a WIN... I dont know some of the La Tech players develop a mad case of jock itch... Then we will have to hear about this "Bowl "talk crap for another week.

It's crunch time for DD. Honestly, I say he wins 3 out of the last four to finish 5-7, and keep his job, because of positive signs at the end of the season, honestly, I think this will happen, just seems to be the luck we will have.

This is not really what I wanted to quote, but good signature on the ranks of our offense. WOW, I had no idea it was that bad.
