Are we worse than last year?

Just the fact that our offense can't do anything against anyone makes me think we may be worse. I will be surprised if we can win another game.

In case no one noticed, Fla. Atlantic took Arkansas State behind the wood shed last night.

Last year we lost all conference games by a margin of 7 or less. So far this year we have been shut out with margins of defeat by 35, 19 and 8. Our offense has averaged all season something like 9.8 points per game.

Despite our troubles at QB last season, we were scoring more points.

Defense has improved marginally as we have only allowed 27.8 points per game whereas last season after 8 games we had allowed 29.5 points.

Overall, I'd say we are worse off this year compared to last. It'll be interesting to see if we manage to score a TD against La Tech since we refuse to throw for the end zone once we hit the red zone (assuming we get there in the first place).

I would say as far as talent goes, we have more talent.

As for the team's performance, definitely worse. Now who is that a reflection of? I'll let you take a guess.......
