DD's postgame interview

I like the fact that he was realistic and actually sounded a little upset that they couldn't punch it in. He refered to how many hold calls too. I hope this gets fixed soon. I think the best thing for DD to do to stay with this program is to fire Etheridge NOW!

I guess they will give another cut to the playbook.  They will just go from 4 plays to 3 this coming week.

As long as we keep the flea flicker im good!.... We can call that play 3 now instead of 4.... QB in huddle : "Play 3, Play 3 on 2 ready..."Hold someone"

Lets just take a knee each snap.  Some drives it would gain more total yards than DD's offense.

Since our offense is too sophisticated and complicated for our players to figure out, why not just do a QB sneak on every play? They know we're going up the middle anyway, and we have three starting quarterbacks that need to be utilized. Besides, it would burn the clock and minimize mistakes, give our punter much needed practice for the future, and our coaches wouldn't have to strain their brains trying to figure out which non-existent hole to run through. Since we know we're going to lose anyway, it would really be a win win situation for everyone!

/quote] from Sunday's (day after game) DMN

"We made too many mistakes on offense and didn't capitalize on opportunities," Dickey said. "It has been happening too long. An offense takes a little longer to come together than a defense, but we shouldn't have this many penalties, problems getting out of the huddle and getting lined up correctly. That falls on the coach. We can sit here and sugarcoat it all we want, it falls on Coach Dickey. Our players' effort today was outstanding, but it wasn't good enough."

Because we have 5 plays. A QB sneak would make 6 plays (I stole this line from a previous poster).

BTW, I want to change the RF analogy. In hindsight, I think it was really more of a compliment. The updated nickname now reads: Ramon "I keep all the plays on my five digits" Flannigan.

I think that is a much better nickname for RF.
