Funny MTSU comment

I had a family reunion event over the weekend with my wife's family. I was talking with one of my wife's cousins who is currently teaching at the U of Central Arkansas and we were discussing college tidbits. She mentioned that she used to teach at Middle Tennessee (which interestly enough almost as big as U of Tenn - 22,500 students) and I mentioned the MUTS nickname to her. She thought this was hilarious and began to use it any time she referenced her old school. She even said she was going to call a few of her old colleagues there and try it out on them.

That is funny, my wife's co-worker at UCA came from MTSU and they also got a kick out of the MUTS comment. To bad they rubbed it in some after the dismantling a few weekends ago.

I remember when some goofball "modified" the NTSU exit sign off of I 35 to Ave C to read "NUTS".
