My observations:

I thought the OL played much better, and is improving.

Meager played a pretty good game. I would give him a C+. I would give JMO a C+ as well.

Center/QB exchange is horrible. C cannot keep stepping on the QB's foot. Meager needs to get it the hell out of there, as well. Nice touch on the 2nd quarter TD.

Amazing how the passing game can open up when the OL plays well, and the running game is executed well.

RB's have to hold on to the football.

Too many arm tackles on defense. Safeties making tackles. No pressure on the QB. Lost outside containment.

UNT is no longer able to out-athlete the schools in the SBC. The last 3 games have proven this without a doubt. The other SBC schools have caught up.

OK...And I'm sure it's just me, but last year, when Meager was under center, it seemed we couldn't get the plays in. Last night, I noticed the same thing. Even coming in after a timeout, we would just barely get the play snapped, or too often, have to call a timeout.

I know this is a DD/RF trademark, but it seems more so with Meager in as QB. Yes-No ?

yes ?  no ?  maybe ?

No hard facts, just this fan's observation....this does seem to be an historical trademark of DD/RF. Clock management has never been something that sticks out as a positive.

Yes, it seems that for some reason it gets worse with DM in at QB, but it's not just DM.
