Earthquake 6.6 Shook hard!

Close to being the scariest thing I have been through and that includes a couple of tornados.

Minor damage at my house but heavy structural damage at the resort we were staying at for the weekend. We all are safe and no fatalities on the Island and the power just came back on.

I grew up in CA so Earthquakes are nothing for me, its those damn things that come down from the sky that have there own season you need to worry about!!!

I think where ever you're from, you tend to think those natural disasters as "normal". Earthquakes, hurricanes...those can devastate regions...tornados maybe a housing development or small community.

I don't look forward to the "Big one" out here...that's for damn sure.

Yeah, my sister-in-law and her new husband went on their honeymoon in Hawaii and finally called us this afternoon. Sucks to have power out and stuff like that on your honeymoon, but they went to the beach and have a good story to bring home.
