It's always staggering to scroll through the list of title winners. We're all just fillers for the top commodities. And that isn't limited to us, but basically everyone outside of the aforementioned. -

Everybody sounds like Cris Collinsworth these days, who could make a Patrick Mahomes incomplete pass sound like it was the immaculate reception. The big stars get hyped all game long even when they crap the bed. Actual players doing actual good things in front of our actual eyes get overlooked. -

Have TV bowl game announcers ever been worse and more biased?
I think some announcers, like the ones doing the Texas-Arizona St game, just try to hype up the game for both sides. They quickly switch to sounding like home team announcers for which ever team is doing well at that moment. Yesterday, it sometimes sounded like they were paid by UT, other times it was as if they were paid by Arizona St. The days of Pat Summerall's calm work is long gone.- 2
