I understand that and accept it. But, we do have more money than most of the Sun Belt teams. Also, no coach comes here without knowing that we are "not rich" and he should accept that fact and learn to deal with it or not show up here at all.

Our budget, though woefully inaedequate, has increased steadilly over the past few years. We need someone who can help energize the fan base to accelerate this process.

No, Kidding plus as far as UNT's history goes we have the most money ever, and an AD that is going out of his way to fight tooth and nail to make North Texas a much better place for Athletics. From that stand point along with the automatic tie in we have to a bowl Dickey is in the best situation any UNT Football coach has ever had.

It does not cost a lot of money to recruit the North Texas area. If he and his staff did a better job of that he would not be in this situation.

The facilities and other stuff are MUCH better than when he got here, yet after winning 4 straight conference championships we have had 2 of our worst recruiting years. No big name players, no DISD etc.

He has lost some good coaches, but I believe that DD and his staff got lazy!
