On the bright side Coach Dickey did pass 40% of the time. I see that as an improvement/positive from his run-run-run game from days gone by.

For those who watched or were at the game some of WW's passes were not crisp like they have been in the previous games. On one of his interceptions there was not a UNT receiver around. There were a couple of passes that were dropped and naturally there were a couple of passes that could have gone either way.

The defensively.....there was no consistancy. At times our "D" looked really good and others they had no clue and was virturally pushed around all night.

Offensively, I think we have a "mole" in the huddle.

Like everyone's concern......if last year was kinda like a rebuilding year then why in three games.....Texas, Akron and MTSU..... are we only getting 80/90/100 yards total offense?

*****************************************************************

Perhaps Coach Dickey's Achilles' Heal is Coach Ramon Flannigan our Offensive Coordinator. Friends or not there has to come to a point that the O.C. drags the program down the "tubes."

Conversely, Coach Dickey (who has taken all the heat) has to make the decision to ride the wild ride with Coach Flannigan and both go down with the ship or "CUT" Coach Flannigan from the program with the hopes of trying to salvage the year with someone who can "kick start" the program.

Other programs have "CUT" assistant coaches into the season and IMHO this should be considered, immediately.

Etheridge....he's the common denominator. As much as people on this board disklike RF, we had success under him. Etheridge's combined record in 3 1/2 seasons is something like 3 total wins, the rest losses...all the wins coming with his 1 1/2 seasons with us. This Oline looks to be getting worse every single week.

I actually wanted to see the run more. Each time Jamario would get going with a couple of decent runs in a row, we'd throw some hail mary lob down the field to get picked or incomplete.

Yeah, Jamario might get stuffed for long portions of the game. But he won't be contained the whole time by MTSU or any other Sun Belt team. Our play action doesn't scare anybody.

Why not let Jamario run the ball 30 times and see what happens...it has to be better than that lame excuse for an offense I saw last night. I'm pretty much done with Ramon Flanagan...will NOT miss him when he's gone.
