Since you do not id yourself and this is just your 2nd post I can only assume you don't know what you are talking about. As board members know I don't always agree with RV (umbrella gate) but he has done more to advance NT athletics in the short time he has been here than all prior AD's in my memory...I am 70 and graduated wayyyyyyyyyyyyy back in 1957.

New soccer field and stadium

New softball field and stadium

New FB practice fields (2)

New Athletic Facility

New tennis complex

New BB men and women practice courts

new volleyball court

greatly expanded Athletic academic space and equipment

created equity in womens sports funding

New Jumbo trom at Fouts field...moveable to new stadium

New field turn at Fouts field moveable

Completly new electrical at Fouts....absolutly necessary to not have to use generators at the field

There are others that I can't remember now.

Those didn't even include tailgating (which has been huge) and improved scheduling. He has also done very well at getting students interested and involved.

RV is not perfect but then who is? My biggest fault has been the contract extensions and some of the hires. He also hasn't communicated very well with the alumni except in a one on one situation (think quarterly or even semi-annual meetings). My other area of concern has to do with promotion. I didn't expect groundbreaking on a new stadium by now but I did expect a stadium fund campaign to be underway. I haven't seen much in the way of game day promotions within the city of Denon and virtually none outside.
