I actually remember driving from Denton back towards Dallas after a NT basketball game and thought about going to the 2nd half of this game until I heard the lopsided score then turned it off and went on home. Oh well. Maybe some of you have heard about this game before....current score 41-17....DMN video clip of the final 2:53 of the game...killer ending....

If I remember correctly, those announcers were on Leno a few weeks later. My brother and I still refer to two quotes from that game: "Good gosh almighty!" And "God bless those kids. I'm gonna throw up."

That was an amazing game, I believe one announcer was Coach Zoffuto who was at Lake Highlands and now I believe is at WT White.

That Tyler team was amazing though with ?David Warren?

I was at that game as a John Tyler grad and my wife as a Plano East grad. That was the most amazing game I've ever witnessed in my life and can't imagine anything ever beating it. Although a Mean Green comeback today would have to come close.

I remember this playoff game. I was a freshman at Clark HS in Plano the year this game happened and became a '98 grad of Plano East. It's neat to know that my high school has one of the best if not the best comeback in high school football history.
