I remember when Joe Lee was the head coach at New Mexico. Anyone know what his records were?

Doesn't this sound like a personality conflict?

Joe Lee did an great job for their defense. I taped the 2004 NO bowl and the announcers were very high on him and his past job perfomances.

He dhould not go long without a job.

At Memphis your defense goes 9-4, 8-4 and 7-5 the first three seasons but as soon as you start your 4th season off 1-2 it's DOORKNOB!

That scenario would have been my guess over the W/L aspects of Dunn's performance. Good performance and a good relationship with the boss goes a long ways with most in our society.

Now bad performances and a good relationship with the boss by the one doing the "bad performing" and it being validated and approved after a period of time by said boss is another thing. Those kind of scenarios can eventually get under the skin of a rather formidable cross-section of any progressive school's alumnus base.
