North Texas Picked 2nd

North Texas is picked to come in 2nd in their division by Lindy's magazine. They think that Davis, Watson, Wooden, and Bell will all be big contributors to the team. Bell had the 3rd most assists in JC basketball nationally last year.

Wow, I didn't know that about Bell. How can a player that is thrid in the nation in assists not even make all-conference?

I can't find that Wooden is much of a scorer but he's a very good rebounder and defensive player.

One that's not mentioned though is Sturns. If his head's on straight, watch out for this kid. H e had the best stats in almost every category per minute played.

The conference is probably going to be pretty even this season, so a 2nd place finish in our division is very possible. So is a 4th or 5th however.

The team has the talent to do whatever they want. Maybe this will be the year that JJ can put a full season together and make some noise in the college basketball world.
