I read an article in the Austin paper last week that Akron is in the bottom 5 in attendance. It said they average about 5-6 thousand a game.

I'd be interested in going if I could find someone to split the hotel cost with. Travelocity has some good last minute deals, but its best if at least two people go.

I don't know how close it is to Akron, but you ought to try and hit the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton while you're there. It's like Jerusalem for football fans.

It's about an hour's ride, at most, if I recall. Honestly, the HOF is a bit disappointing. The rings are really cool and it's definitely worth it to get your picture taken with Mean Joe Greene's bust, but when I was last there, they badly needed to update their videos.
