O-Line is horrible...I don't care who the QB is the O-Line would make any QB look bad, because we cannot get anyone blocked on the run or the pass.

Woody is the guy, let him play!

When we changed QB's, we had false starts, timouts to avoid delay of game penalties...LET ONE GUY play.

THE O-LINE IS FAULT OF OUR FAULTY OFFENSE, AND THERE IS NO OTHER REASON...I DON'T CARE WHO IS PLAYING QB, CALLING PLAYS, OR WHO THE HEAD COACH IS...OUR O-LINE IS HORRIBLE

I will not say another thing about this game, because all that will be said is who should be QB, how the play calling was horrible, and fire Dickey.

Nothing will change until the O-Line comes to play...I don't care if Spurrier is calling plays and Joe Montana is your QB!

Enough said! mad.gifmad.gifmad.gif

I am a positive fan, and I have not been this F-ing mad since I have been a Mean Green fan. This is disgusting for so many reasons.

Defense did play well untit they ran out of gas because...

OUR O-LINE IS A JOKE IT IS SO HORRIBLE...THE WORST O-LINE IN THE WHOLE F-ING COUNTRY. mad.gif

I HATE HOW HORRIBLE OUR O-LINE IS.

It is not the fault of anyone...J-MO, Dickey, Flanigan, Woody, Meager...ect!

THE O-LINE IS MAKES ME THROW UP IN MOUTH A LITTLE BIT EVERY TIME I HEAR "THE QB IS FLUSHED OUT OF THE POCKET..." OR "J-MO FOR 2 YARDS..."

Once again, DD goes into his "play not to lose" mode instead of the play to win mode.  You have success throwing the ball in the week you win, so you change it up and not throw the ball....makes sense.

"Play not to lose" you sure that isn't more like, "Turtle-shell and hope you can sneak a win at the end of the game?"

To me, that makes me think he doesn't trust the players to make the good plays on the field. It's like he dumbs it down because the players aren't smart enough and I'm pretty sure they're more than capable of handling whatever gameplan he can cook up. If he trusts the players on the field, then maybe he'll get better results?

I agree that the O-Line hasn't played well - sounds like they were switching some guys out from time to time to try and find someone who would block.

Of course, the Tulsa D did exactly what they needed to do and what every team will do with us until we can beat the scheme - pack the defense tight and blitz. Until our offense can burn a defense and make them pay for this line up, we'll see it over and over again.

I don't expect a big change any time soon...

Do something...we won't be able to do crap unitl we can block...you want to throw...block somebody...you want J-Mo to run...block somebody.

I really can't believe this...I have not been so mad at the Green ever!

This O-line is embarrasing

I spoke to Emmitt in the 4th quarter and he said we ran into a 9 man front most of the night, which would explain why with our best drive of the first half and leading 3-0, with a 3rd and 4 we hand off to Jamario between the tackls for no gain. You can't block 9 with 5 so I don't completely hold the O line to blame. E said the frustration level was at an all time high in the stands for those who made the trip. I can only imagine.

So if this is the case - that they had 9 men in the box, why not drop back in the shotgun and throw - beat them at it? Wait a sec, this is DD, nevermind.

Well, here's what blew my mind: I didn't see much stacking of the line. All 5 DBs were playing relatively neutral positions. The difference was they always stacked the point of attack, and clogged the gaps. Their secondary reacted so fast to the play that they always arrived in time to take away the cutback. What was unreal was whenever we tried to pass, there were 5 DBs immediately in coverage, and whenever we ran, there were 5 guys clogging the second level. Notice that J-Mo didn't get stopped behind the line all that often, but he never got much past the first 2-3 yards.

That defense is just sick.

Obviously there isn't much that blows the mind of the d coordinators of the three teams we have faced as we are second worst in the nation.

Buffalo, for Christs' sakes is ranked nearly 30 places ahead of us offensively.

BUFFALO!!!!!!!!!

Not for about half on here as there is probably about half on here that think if we can just get to conference play, everything will be okay. They have another thing coming however, when your offense is this bad.

It's really hard to blame the O-line when defenses stack 8, 9, even 10 players in the box. 5 linemen cannot stop 10 defenders.

Basically what is happening is the O-linemen take up the D-linemen and the LBs sit 1 or 2 yards back behind them. What few holes are made by the O-line are gone because the LBs fill in any holes. That is why you saw us get so few yards per attempt on running tonight. Again, excellent defensive coaching on Tulsa's part, poor offensive planning on ours.

Until we abandon the "run, run it some more, and run it one last time just to make sure" philosophy, we will never muster much offense. 6 first downs the whole game is just plain ... straight up ... down right ... PITIFUL!!!
