Anyone else think nothing will come of this? The NCAA already knew about the house, they didn't care about Peterson getting a free car for awhile, they don't care that Bomar and company got free money from a dealership, etc.... The NCAA just doesn't care about stuff like this when it happens to a big time player from a big time school.

Yep, and they suspended Dez Bryant for the season. Some things with the NCAA just make no sense at all. It is certainly all about the money and the influence. Do you think the NCAA is taking its cue from some Mexican drug cartel on how to "win friends and influence enemies"? ohmy.gif

OU had recruiting limits, one fewer coach could visit recruits for 2007 and 2008. And, they had their scholarship limit reduced to 83 for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. So, this is the first year OU will be at the full 85 scholarship limit since the Bomar incident.

Wow. Remind me again, how many scholarships did we lose for APR violations, 5 right? You know, students dropping out of school because we didn't change their grade?

What a great message the NCAA sends. Become bigtime any way you can. Cheat, lie, steal, murder (oh wait, they punished Baylor, but then again, it's just Baylor), just become a bigtime football program and you will have no consequences about which to worry.
