moderator: Gary from Denton asks: What problems does Tulsa present to UNT this weekend?

UNT beat writer Brett Vito: Tulsa has a very good quarterback in Paul Smith, who will look to take advantage of UNT's young defensive secondary. The Mean Green have talented young cornerbacks, but they lack experience. That could pose a problem for UNT.

Sports editor Russ Goodall: Gary, Paul Smith presents the biggest problem for the Mean Green this Saturday. The first two weeks, UNT's defense faced quarterbacks that were making their first -- Colt McCoy, or second -- Justin Willis, start in big time college football. Smith led the Golden Hurricane to a C-USA title last year and a win over Fresno State in the Liberty Bowl. Even without all-everything tight end Garrett Mills, Tulsa's offense will present things that the UNT defense probably hasn't seen this year. This will be an extremely tough job for the defense. If they can slow down the Golden Hurricane offense, then they should get out of Tulsa without taking to bad a beating.
