Students once again...represent!

Alumni side - why there is an empty seat is mind boggling.

Alumni side - why there is an empty seat is mind boggling. 

There are hundreds of thousands of alumni, and over 30,000 actuive students. That's more than enough people to fill the remaining 6,000 seats; regardless of diploma.

I could probably listen on the radio and see the game better than those endzone seats. Those will NEVER be filled on a regular basis. To me, our stadium holds roughly 22,000 or so because the other 8,000 just isn't watchable.

You also have to consider how many from the alumni side are on the deck. Nobody in the deck are there with student id's

El Guapo was truly pleased to see the win with such a plethora of fans.

I don't know about El Guapo but I saw myself. Those end zone seats weren't all that bad as that's the end zone where most of the action occurred.

Hahaha, The turf looks so nice and new...and then you look beside it at the stands

I had to be out of town but ;istened on KNTU. I made sure my tickets were used. Jaydub come on over to the Big Peoples side and fee up a seat for all of our new found student. If they have to go to the end zone they might not come back.

keep in mind w/ the students standing it looks alot fuller than the alums who sit...sitting exposes holes...

also it basically stinks that the first 4-5 rows on the alumni side have the worst sightlines so they are unusable.

The student turnout was great, but let's be realistic. The student side was more full than the alumni side, but move the SMUt fans, their candy-stripers and the Green Brigade to the alumni side and what do you have left? Maybe 5,000 students.

I want the student section so full where they have to start flowing into the crappy end zone seating. Then and only then might we get enough support from the student body to perhaps get the (stadium) rocket off the launching pad.
