Is FSU over rated this year? I didn't watch, but wasn't there game with Miami less than exciting? Then struggling with Troy? Now I know Troy has a good program with a history of playing OOC games tough, I'm just wondering if maybe FSU shouldn't be ranked so high.

Thoughts?

By the way, that game along with ULM's close one against Kansas has me really excited about this years Sun Belt. Maybe we can start to shed the Suck Belt image?

I was looking at the stats for the FSU Troy game after getting home from Fouts and it looked like a complete passing game on both sides.

Not to grab credit from The Sun Belt or Troy, but is FSU lacking horribly in a run game this year? and for that matter, Troy as well? Maybe it was kind of a fluke game due to 2 highly pass orientated teams playing against each other.

FSU:

336 Yards Passing

28 attempts for 45 yards rushing between 5 rushers (highest rusher 25 yards)

Troy:

271 yards passing

14 attempts for 24 yards rushing between 5 rushers (highest rusher 12 yards)

Seems like either team would have a very hard time against a good pass defense.

      Softball vs. UAB (4/17 & 4/18/25)

      Mother Nature disrupts another softball series. With Easter on Sunday, and bad weather expected Saturday, the ladies will play one game tomorrow and a doubleheader Friday starting at 3 PM. Tight race in The American as we enter the last three conference series. UNT needs two wins this series to match their win total from last year. I maintain getting a top two seed is the highest priority but we are right there with #1 FAU and hold the tiebreaker, the only team in the conference to do so. Other Series This Weekend FAU @ East Carolina Memphis @ South Florida UTSA @ Charlotte Wichita State @ Tulsa I don't foresee South Florida or Charlotte losing this weekend, so a sweep at home against UAB is almost necessary.

      We’re not alone

      I read somewhere before the teams were even seeded that Florida, Auburn, Duke, and Houston were a step above every other team. There was some metric/stat they showed to back up the statement. So, yes, I think those teams were accurately seeded…though TT almost had something to say about it.

He reported also that Johnson left towards the end of the season. I knew I didn't see her any longer, but I thought maybe injuries, but it turns out she left like Abou did a few years back. Brackens went into the portal and has since landed at Tarleton State. The only people he says that are coming back are Tac, who was injured all season, Chania Price, and Talley.
