After beating Colorado last weekend, they lose to DII Chadron State.

Also Stanford lost to San Jose State and New Hampshire beat Northwestern

Me and my dad & his buddy got a huge kick out of seeing that Montana State score scroll at the bottom last night. We researched Chadron State & found out some good stuff.

Enrollment of 3,500

Located in Chadron, Nebraska (northwestern)

Outside Magazine has selected Dawes County, where Chadron is located, as one of the nation's top 100 counties in which to live

Play in the Rocky Mountain Conference along with Western State (colorado) whose motto is "Making Champions Out Of Thin Air"

Wildfire almost reached the school last July

Offers 9 Varsity Sports including both men & women's Rodeo

Jennifer Nelson (shown below) has a horse named "Pickle"

And whereas Montana State got a $450k guarantee against CU, Chadron State got $40k for coming to Bozeman which they will use (and I quote) "to help by the team's new football uniforms".

I think it has to do with Hawkins new offense he's putting in place. CU was primarily a run-first UNT offense & he's putting in the big open passing offense that made Boise State so good.
