I sent an e-mail to Eric Capper at North Texas asking about Roy Loren. I got a very prompt reply from him. He wrote "Roy Loren is still in a holding pattern with paperwork that is needed from his junior college before he will be eligible to play for North Texas"

I also asked for a status report on Phillip Graves. He wrote "Phillip Graves is rehabbing his knee and is hoping to start practicing in the next 2-3 weeks"

Any time I have asked a question of Eric he has been good to respond. I appreciate it.

Willie Ransom was dressed and on the sidelines at the SMU game. I don't think that he played though.

There was a report about Phillip Graves saying that he hoped to return at the beginning of conference play.

I talked to PG at the tailgate and he said he was hoping to be cleared by conference play... but it will be another 3 weeks at least. Willie Ransom was #93 and played in both halves of the SMU game.
