The conference has come a LONG ways. On top of the good numbers, every single home team won their game. No losses to IAA's... a win over Army... and a heated contest between two Sun Belt teams. The Belt is getting better.

BTW - during the WKU/Georgia game - the coach was interviewed and announced that they would be moving up to IA and playing in the Sun Belt soon. They put up a respectable showing yesterday and I welcome them into our fledgling conference.

One last thing, the Belt has a cheerleader in second place for the Athlon Sideline Spirit competition. Take 5 seconds out of your day and go vote for the little hottie from FIU...

For Belt schools to pull in 26,000+ and over 18,000 versus 1AA schools is a marked improvement.

OK...I voted for her, but she really is not THAT hot. But, all the other girls were sort of frumpy looking, also, so it really did not matter.
