Whats up with the Bus situation

2 out of 3 Buses stalled on the way, and they had No A/C...

When they were up and running they couldnt go over 40 mph

Whoa, what a huge blunder before this huge game....I hope some investigations are done and people are disclipined over this costly mistake. Whatever company did this had to have known these buses were deemed inoperable.... Is there a Texas connection to this?????? Conspiracy??? SMU????? Hurricanes?????? LOL

It did have a psychological effect on the coaches and players....

How many times did this happen to people playing sports in HS. Not Ever for me.

It was just embarassing to hear this on a national televised game that a D-1 program as big as UNT, especially being a Texas football team having this problem....

That company should have its contract terminated immediately

I believe they used a different company on the way back.

Probably could have chartered a Southwest flight for close to the same amount.

I know my airline flew the Georgia Force Arena football team this past season.

Rather than charter an entire plane, they bought tickets on a scheduled flight and we threw the checked baggage restrictions out the window. I'm sure Southwest would've done that DAL-AUS for NT with the right amount of notice.

The game announcers said that DD already terminated whoever we rode to Austin with and got a new company.

I don't know why in the hell it was even relevant to mention the situation ONCE, much less TWICE. But we all know FSN rides the BigXII jock like a horse anyways.

Oh well, thats life as a UNT player I suppose. I guess if you work for DD you have to be able to trasport players to a game in a timely manner, or you get fired, however, he doesn't take the same approach to his offensive coordinator who managed to get a whole total of 95 yards of offense.
