I would bet we see Meager start next week regardless of how woody did.

I was leaning towards Phillips before the game because I liked his leadership, decisions, passing ability, and toughness. But, if we're not going to a passing game then I agree that Woody Wilson is better than Phillips or a healthy Daniel Meager.

If the offense would design some plays to take advantage of Wilson's strengths, I can see us scoring 20 or more points in every remaining game. He showed me a lot more than in the spring game. He missed on some passes but I don't believe that we had any interceptions and more play would probably make him more accurate.

On the other hand, if we want another 2-10 or 3-9 season then go ahead and switch quarterbacks around.
