Kelson doubtful for North Texas

Texas just released its injury report and lists starting weak side linebacker Drew Kelson as doubtful for the season opener against North Texas on Saturday with a left ankle injury.

Based on Texas' injury reports of the past, doubtful means out. So look for redshirt freshman Roddrick Muckelroy to get the start at WLB in Kelson's place.

True freshman strong side linebacker Sergio Kindle, a backup to starter Robert Killebrew, is out with the left ankle injury that has sidelined him since the second practice of fall camp on Aug. 8.
