A FEw SURPRISES IN 2 DEEP ROSTER

Looking over the 2-deep roster I notice a few things that surprised me. On defense, Isaac Thomas is listed as starter at NG. I notice that Joseph Miller, who saw lots of time last year on defense isn't in the 2-deep, but rs freshman Jonathan Stewart is at DE. Germaine Dawson and Tobe Nwigwe are listed as starters along with Desmon Chatman. Bush and Agobottah are in the 2 deep. On defense, 11 of the two deep are either freshmen or sophomores. That has to bode well for the future, especially since a lot of the true freshmen, who will be redshirting, showed a lot of promise.

On offense, Vengegas is starting at LG, backed up by freshman redshirt Tyler Bailey from Kentucky. Anyone know much about him? Banks is second team behind Lineberry, Seidle is in the two ddep at TE. On offense, there are 9 freshmen and 4 sophomores listed in the two deep. Again, that bodes well for the future....or you might say, doesn't say much about the depth of our upper-classmen.

However, to use a rule of thumb, this team ought to improve significantly as the year goes on.
