In 2002, during his only full season to start, Andrew Smith comes in stone cold at Texas, takes his lumps and goes on to direct us to a conference championship and our first bowl win since anyone can remember and he's behind Jason Mills?

OK? blink.gif

Rick, I almost hate to reply and take away any of the good that Andrew Smith was able to accomplish in his championship year but he simply doesn't have the stats that Jason did.

Mills had a better completion percentage, touchdowns, yards gained and about every other statistic than Smith, even if you took the average. Mills was the total offense leader all three years that he started to Smith's none. Kevin Galbraith was the total offense leader in Andrew's year of starting.

So, while I appreciate everything that Andrew Smith was able to accomplish it does not surpass those of Jason Mills.

jamario is the # 2 running back. he lead the nation in rushing. only two NT players ever can say that and they both need to be on that list. I expect Jamario to pass PC this year and take over the # 1 slot.

Uhh, Big Rob, it would take about 2,800 yards for Jamario to pass Patrick in total yards. Right now, I believe that he would behind Kevin Galbraith, who was only here two years. Ja'Quay Wilburn is also out of reach unless he could somehow duplicate his freshman totals.

Thomas certainly has the talent to become our all-time leading rusher but it's going to take a couple of spectacular years for that to happen.
