Recruiting tidbits...players committing to other

Rivals shows the following players considered NT before committing to other schools. A lot of times we only learn this when they commit elsewhere. Actually this is very low at this time of year in the NT recruiting cycle.

OG Spencer Thompson, Plainview, 6-2, 279, TCU

WR Michael Scarlett, a Albuquerque Sandia, 6-0, 157, 4.5 New Mexico

OLB Chris Dowell El Paso Andress 6-2, 205, 4.6 UTEP-a soft commit

QB Terrance Ganaway, DeKalb Klein 6-0, 199, 4.64 SMU

There are others who mentioned NT but have since dropped NT but have not committed.

I now have listed 20 current prospects considering NT per the recruit...nothing to document NT is interested in them...except one who lists an offer from NT..but there may or may not have been an offer. (3 from OK)

To me this shows that NT is very active in the recruiting area. The fact we had over 350 prospects in the NT two summer camps is a further indication of NT's activity...for example...Tulsa had about 260.
