Harking back to the question/phrase "Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio?"...

Anyone know what happened to Jonas Buckles??? I see where Markeith Knowlton was recently signed by BC Lions of the CFL, but I actually thought Buckles was a better Pro (NFL, CFL, etc.) prospect. I even saw him listed on a draft board, amongst this list of "players to watch for the NFL Draft":
