I would say thats about right. They deserve this lack of respect and credibility that they are given. Last year was pathetic and it was no big 12 conference we were in.

Here is to hoping they are wrong... that I am wrong.

I am pretty sure that their predictions are computer based predicitons; based on statistics. And based on last year; that's about right. Only when you look at non-quantitative factors (experience at Qb, a healthy Jamario, etc) does the outlook appear more positive.

The thing that concerns me about these predictions are that they are often very close to being right. For the ten year period prior to last year they hit our won/lost record right on the nose six times and were pretty darned close some other years. Boy, I hope they missed on this one, but it bothers me to see it from this group.

but you know what we have a tough schedule, tulsa, akron, and texas, have all won their conferences and we have to play major SBC games away.

This poll said that Baylor would be 2-9 last year and 0-8 in the Big 12.

They said Nebraska would be 3-8 and 2-6 in the Big 12 last year.

Of course, they did pick Texas and Colorado to be in the Big 12 championship game.
