Meet the Parents

The Goonies

Animal House

Something from each of the last 3 generations. Young Einstein, Caddyshack, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and Blazing Saddles were close to being in there as well.

1. "Animal House" --graduated in 1966, I swear I knew most of these guys at UNT my senior year.

2. "Pink Panther movies" especially "The Return of the Pink Panther"

3. "No time for Sergeants" especially the bar scene, the latrine scene and the beginning part.

3b--hard to leave off ( the Vacation movies) especially the Christmas Vacation one all with Chevy Chase... Best line is in Vegas Vacation --Chevy comments that the kids are growing up go fast that he can barely recognize them (they use different people as kids in this one

______________

Honorable mention: "Captain Ron", ..Leonard Maldon thinks it is terrible, but I think it is so nutty it is great.

Blazing Saddles

Silver Streak

City Slickers

From bygone days, I really enjoyed the Cary Grant comedies, especially "I Was a Male War Bride" and "Room For One More."

If you want to do a sports category, then "Necessary Roughness" and "Wildcats" would definitely be there.

I can't list just 3. I can probably list about 30 with a valid arguement for each. But no one wants to read a post that long.
