Opps, and don't forget the women's spending you have to add to balance Title IX.

we can add womens chess. I have an old chess set that I will donate. I will also build a picknick table by the PEB and name it the Kanuth atheletic chess complex. heck I will even throw in one of those little clocks that chess people smack when they are done moving. also my children get to go to school for free since I have a whole sports complex named after me.

How much of the shopping list that BigRob mentioned is paid by the school ?I would assume that the athlete would provide his own glove, bat, shoes, and sun glasses. Right ?

I've gone to some games at A & M and they're a hoot. After the sun goes down the crazies come out and the level of taunting is really something. I'd love to have baseball at NT.

Help make it happen.

Please please please add a baseball team....................

Long overdue....

With the talent pool in Texas, especially growing suburbs such as Allen Mckinney and Ft Worth areas this is going to be a huge Sport for All Texas Schools.

It just makes sense.

Don't we already have women's softball?

Yes, but that has us in balance as of right now.

You have to remember football takes up *85* scholarships, thats alot of womens sports you must fund in order to balance out.

What I heard is womens bowling would be the next thing added.

I'd be more in favor of Women's Roller Derby team.

I fell in love with a Roller Derby Queen

Round and round, oh round and round

The meanest hunk o' woman that anybody ever seen

Down in the arena

She was five foot six and two fifteen

A bleached-blonde mama with a streak of mean

She knew how to knuckle and she knew how to scuffle and fight

And the roller derby program said

That she was built like a 'frigerator with a head

Her fans call her "Tuffy" but all her buddies called her "Spike"*

Talk about earning the nickname "Mean Green". rolleyes.gif

Uh... no. This ain't little league. All equipment, uniforms, etc is provided for the athlete. That would be like asking the football team to provide their own sholder pads and helmets.
