Nice report, but I suppose the national rushing champion thing didn't make much of an impression on one reporter?

The former Tecumseh Savage standout will get to come home tomorrow (Friday) for a short vacation before heading back later this month to begin training camp on July 28. He will fly into Oklahoma City and then he and his family will head to Lake Eufaula for a few days of well-deserved rest and relaxation.

After some time at the lake, he will get to visit around the Tecumseh area and maybe spend some time in Denton, TX, where he was a star running back for the University of North Texas.

That last part would have been a perfect spot to have read....

.........."where he led the nation in rushing for the University of North Texas Mean Green in 2003".

This is incredible news. I really hope he makes the team even if it is just for special teams. I would love to see him out there blocking punts for the Pats and running them in for TDs and who knows Corey Dillon is getting old and I'm not sure Faulk will be around much longer because of age/salary cap. LM and Pat #1 and 2 in a couple years?
