Incoming Freshman

I'm not sure why, but for some reason I'm really excited about this years recruiting class. I feel as though DD did a good job recruiting on the d-line. He brought in guys who should fit well into the 3-4. As it seems as though most these guys already have excellent size.

I was just wondering who yall expect to make an impact this year? Here are my predictions:

Tim Patton-has the much needed size already

Kelvin Drake- saw this kids highlight reel. WOW! He will be a force here.

Sam Osw-Hemeng- From what we hear this kid has the size and athletiscim to play

I think in a few years this will turn out to be an excellent class that brought much needed size to the lines.

Although we signed only two OL's out of high school this year, both Drake and Nick Foster will have the size and athleticism to make significant contributions to the team. The main question will be do we red-shirt them and have two slightly more seasoned additions to the line next year or do we try to work them in this year?

I would look for Esteban Santiago to move to the O-line. He signed as a DT. But he was all state honorable-mention as an O-linemen. He already weighs in at around 275?? Foster should be red-shirted as he weighs 330 but needs to turn that from fat to muscle. If Drake can't start then give him a shirt. But I expect big things out of these 2. Future all conference selections.
