Baylor is picking up some highly rated linemen. Didn't we just blow them out a few years ago?

Yeah, and then they beat TAMU; which bought them alot of credibility. Slay a giant, that'll show that you mean business.

--- It is easier to recruit when you are a Big XII team than a SunBelt team. plus these recruits reallize they will get to play more years and probably get more high-level exposure than they would at UT (because of playing time)or at North Texas (likely more televison time or media space).

--- SMU shooting us down in the 70's is still hurting our program, it might be us in the Big-XII instead of Baylor had we been admitted, after all we are larger and in a larger market and at the time had a good football and basketball program going.

---STOMP SMUt.

Just once I'd like to see North Texas listed next to one of these pre-season recruiting lists. Instead, I have to see UTEP, Tulane, New Mex State, and Tulsa, among the Big 12 schools that are listed next to just about every name. huh.gif
