Colley published on the other mg board that Jenks OK kicker Steven Woodward has accepted a scholarship offer from UNT..."I hope to kickoff Sept 2, 2006 against Texas." in an email to Scout.com's Brandon Huffmon.

Woodward was ranked the No. 9 placekicker nationally in the class of 2006 by Scout.com (Insiders has him ranked as a 3 *)

The only reason I posted this is that is now public info...and our board deserves to know of it. I just hope this doesn't come to haunt us as any other college can offer him and we could lose him...between now and two-a-days.

If I remember Woodward had signed a :LOI from another college, but it occurred after the signing date and was not binding until he reported to two-a-days. FYI this committment was known by GMG leaders for some time but had not reported it because of the fear of losing this recruit.
