Brent wanted to be at NT but I guess the coaches didn't feel like he was as good as the kid from Ardmore OK. Lets see, his stats are as good or better. Brent's one of the fastest kids in OK. The Oil Bowl coaches thinks he's a super stud and Northern Colorado believe they have the steal of the century...I know it's sour grapes on my part and Coach Duke is history so the dude I believe was responsible is not there anymore mad.gif . Brent would have given NT 200% just like Charley does. A big mistake in my book. 6'2" 195LB 10.5sec 100 meter with great hands and a will to never quit don't come around everyday. We have tried to talk him into walking on at NT, but he says a full ride in the hand is worth 2 in the bush *sigh*

.....and your son is very right to have that attitude. I wish him all the luck and success in the world. Keep us posted on what I know will be a very successful career at N.Colorado.

I saw 6 or 8 "undecided" players listed.  Do we have some room for these guys ?

TCJC has a football team?? or just a mess up?

My guess" Tyler County Junior College, don't they play football?

I would not be surprised if some of the undecideds have SAT or some other type of problem to yet be resolved, perhaps waiting on results of latest test.

The former TCJC is now Tarrant County College (TCC). I don't believe any of them play football. Also, The JC in Tyler is Tyler JC. Tyler County is in SE Texas (Woodville). I got to know it well after Hurricane Rita.

I can't think of what TCJC would be.

Pop I wish Brent all the success at N. Colorado! I would add that we have had a lot of successful walk-ons in this program, with Chris Hurd, Andy Brewster, Derek Mendoza and Jeff Rodgers to name a few. One thing UNT has really done well historically is to truly provide scholarship opportunities for preffered walk-ons and not just empty promises. Would love to see Brent out there with his brother.

My guess is that it's a typo and he's going to Tyler Junior College (which BTW is in Smith County). The other possibility is Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) in Athens.

Most of these schools are getting away from the word "Junior" in their names.

It specifically says Tarrant County JC, the kid seems awful small (5'8", 225 lbs) to be playing college ball.

Well, if signing with 1-A schools means anything, then Texas has theis one saucered and blowed. On the other hand, Oklahoma has about 8 or 9 that have signed with NEO. That could mean 1-A material that just didn't pass the SAT.

Well, I'm personally going to be interested to see how Tim Patton does. He was our most highly rated recruit by several scouting services and at a position where we need depth and talent, the interior defensive line.
