OU at number #1 nest year, what!!!!!!, and OSU as  in oklahoma state, what!!!!

worst poll ive ever seen, do these people even follow college football....

is florida international at #20 , ha ha

OSU as in Ohio State.

OU might run the tables next year. You have to look at the way teams finished the year, and who they have returning. based on that, OU and ND look to be good picks for top 5. I think USC will lose to Arkansas.

I think it's very logical to pick OU ranked ahead of Texas (UT bias aside) but I don't see them as #1. Adrian Peterson should be healthy this year, Bomar turned it on late in the seaon when he had some experience under his belt and UT's quarterback is who again? OU has shown what happens when UT relies heavily on their running game to win.

Also, I think people make the wrongful assumption that USC lost too much talent to be right back on top.

realisticly any of those teams (with the exceptions of CAL and WVU) can run the table and be named national champions. I dont think ND deserves to be #2, but they probably are a top 10 team. CAL is a bunch of Crap. I dont care how many sportswriters love them.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say OU Texas and USC suck compared to their prowess the last 6 years. I'm not even sure OU will be much better than they were last year. Texas will do what OU did last year and USC I am afraid won't fair much better. Wait thats not going out on a limb thats common sense.

Common sense? Did you even watch OU play any games last year?? They improved dramatically towards the end of the season. Even knocked off a (overrated) top ten team in Oregon in the Holiday Bowl. Adrian Peterson = front runner for heisman, book it.

OU and Texas both return a ton of talent. It will be the same old drill, OU and Texas, top 2 in the Big 12 south.

USC has a lot more question marks than Texas or OU, I'll agree with you there. But they are still loaded with talent. Wouldnt count them out of anything.

This year could possibly be the first time since 1999 that neither OU and/or UT are undefeated going into the Red River Shootout. OU plays a road game at Oregon(Autzen always a tough place to play) and UT has the game against Ohio State.

This Top 10 isn't that outlandish. I don't think OU should be number 1 though. Maybe move them down to number 5. Stoops should have them back to form.

ND is up there for good reason. Their QB Brady Quinn is also a front runner for heisman and lots of fun to watch.

Cal returns a lot of starters and the RB they had last year was amazing, not sure if he returns at the moment, can't even remember his name. He's worth it to watch their games. They could give some teams lots of trouble this year.

WVU did great last year, and they return some amazing nfl talent as well. They are not the perennial power, but this year they could be and there's not many teams that could stop them in their conference in my opinion.
