I think I am almost ready to think about the possibility of maybe considering the chances of contemplating taking up golf again. blink.gifwacko.gifhuh.gif

Of course I want to have the UNT golf bag, UNT head covers, UNT golf towel and UNT umbrella to go with my UNT golf shirt, UNT golf shorts, UNT golf hat, and UNT underwear. I can get the head covers and towel from UNT Bookstore online. Not as easy getting the umbrella and bag.

Any shopping location suggestions where to find the bag and umbrella?

I doubt anyone makes UNT golf shoes so I will have to find an alternative for that.

Both the campus bookstore and Voertman's carry golf supplies. I've seen golf balls, towels, and club covers at the bookstore. You could probably get the umbrella at either Voertman's or the bookstore, but I'm not sure about a golf bag.

Very interesting EulessEagle.

Now consider this. I was parked on the side of the street near the old NT golf course. I went there to let my young (then) sons look at the ducks. We could see that a twosome was about to tee off and took cover behind my Surburban.

You know the rest of the story. The first golfer went off without incident. The second hit my truck.

The guy that hit me wanted to pay for the damage done by his ball. His partner nearly lost his mind and refused to let the other man even exchange information with me. It got crazy, and I took my young sons and left the scene.

But I've always wondered, who was responsible. I knew there was a risk (demonstrated by my hiding behind my truck), but I did nothing to cause the ball to hit my vehicle.

You make the call.

i think i would have given the guy, who offered to pay, my name and phone number.

i was playing on the "old" golf course one day and someone landed his ball in the wrong fairway on the green. I believe the ball was on the #16 green because I was getting ready to tee off of #18. He was lining up to hit the ball, off the green, and i asked the guy to improve his ball off the green. He shot me the finger and took a really big divot from the green. i informed the pro shop about it but do not know if anything was done.....

what can ya do???

golfers should be required to read golf etiquite before they play.

I accidently hit a guy on the TWU course. I underestimated my shot and to hit the guy on the back in the nearby tee box. I appologized but he still threw the ball back at me and was yelling. I didn't hurt him that bad, but he was a little mad.

Accidents happen. When they do, you fess up and make amends.

As for supplies, I will see if I can get with the coach on the bag. Looks like V and the Bookstore are the place for every thing else. Thansk all.

And I will send up a warning when I am on the course next time. ohmy.gif
